Tapping Arpeggios Part 1

 Atanas G. Shishkov is a guitar player from Bulgaria. He was born in 1975 and
began playing guitar at the age of 16. Since 1994 until now he has recorded
over 10 electric solo projects and experiments in different styles.
Earlier influences - Vinnie Moore, Tony McAlpine, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen,
Steve Vai. Atanas likes to explore the music of the great masters like Greg
Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Frank Gambale, Scott Henderson and Al di Meola. He enjoys
very much of the new guitar players like Derryl Gabel, Francesco Fareri, Prashant
Aswani. Atanas: "I`m happy that I`m coresponding with Derryl and Francesco
personally - they are great friends and talents!"
His last album CD"Flying Colours" was finished in august, 2002. This
project is in fusion style and contains 8 instrumental pieces. All instruments
performed by Atanas G.Shishkov. The album was recorded in Atanas` home and mixed
in the studio of "The White, Green and Reds" in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

The examples above show a few of the techniques that he has used in his last
album. Atanas: "I developed these techniques and playing more than 3 years
and I'm continuing to experiment . I hope that the results are good!".
